World Day Against Child Labour aims to focus on the global extent of child labor and the action and efforts needed to eliminate it. Each year on 12 June, the World Day against child labour brings together governments, employers and workers’ organizations, civil societies , as well as millions of people from around the world come together to highlight the plight of child laborers and to come up with possible solutions. The day provides an opportunity and urges the need to generate an environment for children to grow and live a dignified life and also to fight against child labour throughout the world.
